2011 Sydney

The Sydney workshop was hosted in the School of Biological Sciences, Macquarie University, by Leanne Armand in July 2011. Twenty-five participants arrived from Australia, Brazil, Chile, India, Italy, Japan, Malaysia, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, UK and USA. Fifteen formal presentations (11 microscope-based taxonomy sessions, 3 talks and 2 invited keynote presentations) were presented together with posters and two 'show and tell' sessions where participants informally looked at research slides and photographs that people had brought.

The workshop dinner was held in Taronga Zoo overlooking Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and the strangely Eucampia-like harbour bridge!
